Hello, I’m René, 31 years old and have been working for act’o-soft since 2018. In my free time, I enjoy various sports such as jogging, badminton and squash, and as a hobby cook, I try to regain the calories burned in the most culinary way possible. I am also interested in biographies of famous people and politics.
After graduating from university with a commercial focus, René decided to pursue his interest in IT topics and complete an apprenticeship as an IT systems trader. He found act’o-soft to be the perfect company for him. On 01 August 2018, he started his training and completed it in 2020 with flying colors.
In the two years, René was allowed to pass through all teams within the company in order to find the area for himself that suits his strengths. He discovered his greatest passion in the area of customer communication and consulting, which led him to specialize in Customer Success Management after completing his training.
Since then René has been working closely with act’o-soft’s customers and is the first point of contact when it comes to requirements, projects and much more. With his company car, he visits his customers in the DACH region and regularly exchanges information about Microsoft teams.
The CSM team was newly formed in 2020 and, in addition to the Customer Success Managers, also includes colleagues from the areas of sales, marketing and training. The different perspectives of the team members enable optimal and successful customer care. The team reconciles itself on a weekly basis with regard to current events.
In order for René to serve the customer in the best possible way, communication with the SCRUM teams and consultation with the product owners is very important to him and therefore a big part of his daily work.
Through the internal training program, René has furthered his education in project management, ERP systems and SQL. “It is important to me to discover new things outside of my own comfort zone”.
