GERRY WEBER International AG has decided to equip its approximately 300 GERRY WEBER and franchise stores in more than 10 countries with the POS solution pos4brand from act’o-soft. The introduction of the new POS solution is currently in full swing. In addition to the first pilot stores in Bad Salzuflen and Oberhausen, Gerry Weber and act’o-soft were able to put more than 15 Gerry Weber stores into operation with the new solution in March.


With GERRY WEBER International AG another leading international fashion group has decided in favor of act’o-soft’s POS solution. GERRY WEBER is thus building on a standardized and scalable solution which is seamlessly integrated into the current central systems via ESB and at the same time extends the existing business processes with further functionalities.


Besides the implementation of new functionalities, additional synergies with other solution providers could be achieved by using pos4brand. For example, the strategic act’o-soft partner DYMATRIX, which is also currently being implemented as a CRM solution provider at GERRY WEBER, provides data as well as action campaigns that can be automated in pos4brand – by act’o-soft for a clearer, better and more efficient sales process. In this way, processes and functions are implemented for GERRY WEBER employees to be able to advise customers in the store even more comprehensively and with the highest quality.

Stefan Beyler, CIO at GERRY WEBER, summarizes the intentions for the decision as follows: 

“For example, in addition to the current legal requirements of German fiscalization, we also want to view inventory availability of items from other stores in the checkout, implement targeted automated promotions in the GERRY-WEBER stores and realize new omni-channel processes in our stores. We need a software partner who can implement our requirements quickly and deliver the highest quality together with our project team. It is also optimal that our partner act’o-soft is 500m away from our company headquarters as the crow flies and that we can sit down together at the same table at any time.”
